PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE

Southern Titan Group provides professional maintenance services for mission-critical protective equipment used in hazardous operations. We support defence, emergency response, and industrial teams by ensuring that all essential gear remains safe, compliant, and ready for deployment at all times.

Our maintenance capabilities cover a wide range of equipment, including gas masks, SCBA units, oxygen compressors, oxygen cylinders, cooling suits, bomb suits, bomb suit helmets, training suits, and PPE across Level A, B, and C. Services include detailed inspections, leak and pressure testing, filter and component replacement, hydrostatic testing, and system performance checks.

Whether it’s a gas-tight suit for chemical response, a cooling system for heat-stress operations, or a bomb suit used in EOD missions, we tailor our maintenance approach to meet the operational requirements of each client. All servicing is conducted following strict inspection protocols and is fully documented to meet safety and regulatory standards.

With a strong focus on reliability and readiness, Southern Titan Group helps organizations uphold safety standards and reduce equipment downtime. We don’t just maintain — we help you stay mission-ready.

1. Respiratory Protection

  • Gas masks are cleaned, inspected for seal integrity, tested for leaks, and fitted with new filter canisters to ensure safe and reliable respiratory protection.

  • SCBA units are thoroughly inspected, cleaned, and tested for leaks, with attention to the harness, facepiece, regulator, and cylinder to ensure operational readiness.

2. Protective Suits

  • Level A PPE suits undergo gas-tight leak testing, visual inspection, and patching of minor damages to maintain full chemical protection capability.

  • Level B PPE suits are visually inspected for material integrity, with focus on glove, cuff, and visor interfaces; worn components are replaced to maintain splash protection and SCBA compatibility.

  • Training suits are checked for tears, wear, and proper fit, then cleaned or repaired to ensure safe and repeated use in training environments.

3. EOD Gear & Support System

  • Bomb suits are assessed for armor panel integrity, outer fabric damage, and fastening system performance, with cleaning and repair carried out to maintain optimal protection.

  • Bomb suit helmets are inspected for visor clarity, internal padding, and the functionality of integrated communication and cooling systems.

  • Cooling suits are checked for hose connection integrity, fluid circulation efficiency, and battery or pump system performance to ensure consistent cooling during extended operations.

4. Breathing System & Cylinders

  • Oxygen compressors are serviced with scheduled oil and filter replacements, moisture trap cleaning, pressure calibration, and air quality testing to ensure safe, breathable air output.

  • Oxygen cylinders are inspected for valve function, external condition, and pressure accuracy, then undergo hydrostatic testing and certified refilling in accordance with safety standards.
