Koperasi Permodalan Veteran Jurutera Berhad (KOPVETJUTRA) was officially registered with the Malaysian Cooperative Commission (SKM) on 24 September 2020 under registration number 202071401107. Founded in accordance with the Co-operative Societies Act 1993, the cooperative aims to uplift the economic status and interests of its members, particularly veterans of the Royal Army Engineers Regiment (RAJD).
Membership is open to RAJD veterans (both pensioned and non-pensioned), former Territorial Army personnel from RAJD, and veterans from other corps who served within RAJD units. In addition, the cooperative welcomes immediate family members of veterans, including spouses, children aged 18 and above, legally adopted children, and close relatives with reasonable justification.
KOPVETJUTRA is approved to operate primarily within the agricultural sector, engaging in activities such as crop cultivation, agro-based industries, and swiftlet farming. The cooperative is also permitted to carry out other initiatives including welfare and educational programs for members, management of movable and immovable assets, investment opportunities, and collaborative ventures or memberships with other cooperatives.
The cooperative's vision is to become a leading veteran-focused cooperative and the preferred choice for RAJD veterans throughout Malaysia. Its mission is to implement structured economic activities that contribute to improving the financial well-being of its members. In support of this vision and mission, KOPVETJUTRA has set clear short-term and long-term objectives focused on enhancing member welfare, strengthening cooperation, and fostering unity among RAJD veterans.
